Intelligence Edge has one primary goal, to build the highest calibre prediction engines for sport. Not tips. Not guesses dressed up as analysis. Public records of calls made before the ball is bounced, every one of them cross-checkable against actual results.
The iV2 engine is exactly that. It currently models Australian rules football data. Its pre-season baseline is 67.58%, across 3,134 games.
Our round predictions are posted pre-bounce weekly on X. Check them out for yourself.
Baseline predictions are locked pre-season. Most prediction services run on cold backtest data like this, but unfortunately most tend to stop here. We treat the baseline as a starting point, and deliberately so the most honest way to measure ourselves. 67.58% accuracy is the floor, not the ceiling.
Our intelligence engines do not stop at pre-season. They learn and run live, reading and updating daily from factors including Elo, injuries and weather conditions, recalibrating the predictions every round. The difference is not small, and it does not run in the backtest's favour. The live engine is sharper by a distance that matters, and we are letting a full season put it beyond argument before we publish the figure, measured the same honest way as the baseline.
Until then, the Australian rules football predictions floor stands at 67.58%. Most would lead with a number like that. For us it is the least we can do.
We only publish what we can prove. Stay tuned.
